Skeleton Dances was created as part of Meow Wolf's "Nucleotide" at Thomas Robertello Gallery in Chicago, Illinois.
The reflective space of the piece picks up on visiting skeletons, affecting an ambient soundscape and triggering percussive tones. Lights multiplied in a mirror-matrix are activated similarly.

Skeleton Dances was created after a dear friend, Hoku, died in Chicago. In conceiving the work my emotional state oscillated around these questions: What are the components that make a life? What makes a body?
I was exploring space, as space, and as I went deeper into it I saw that between smaller increments of space was more space.
In my heart this is a shrine for Hoku. Our glitchy skeletons dance.
